Mane Entertainment has completed filming of their first movie project, 247°F, a suspense thriller starring HALLOWEEN’s Scout Taylor-Compton and Tyler Mane.
The production was completed in Tiblisi, Georgia in partnership with Sarke Studios, a European production company. Also appearing in 247°F are FRIDAY THE 13TH’s Travis Van Winkle, NIGHT OF THE DEMONS’ Michael Copon and Christina Ulloa. In 247°F, best friends Jenna (Compton) and Renee (Ulloa) set out for a weekend of fun but bring with them the heavy burden of a past tragedy and a friendship strained to the breaking point. Along with Renee’s reckless boyfriend, Michael (Copon), and his friend, Ian (Van Winkle), they plan on spending the weekend partying at a lakeside cabin provided by Ian’s uncle, Wade (Mane). Just when it seems that the weekend might be better than what the girls had hoped for, circumstances conspire to trap them in Wade’s sauna. With the temperature rising and time running out, Jenna must find a way to overcome her deepest fears and save herself and her friends.

Yet another film detailing why we should stay in the light is on its way, and hopefully this one will play by its own rules. Lord knows Darkness Falls and The Vanishing on 7th Street didn’t, but that’s an entirely different story.
The Darkness from Stealth Media Group. Simon Foster directs, and Scout Taylor-Compton (Halloween, Halloween II, April Fool’s Day), Michael Biehn (The Terminator, Aliens, The Divide), and Frances Fisher (Unforgiven) are all in talks to star.
Synopsis: When the world is plunged into darkness, Greg Stonehaven has to somehow get to his children two hundred miles away. All forms of communication have stopped working. No cell phones, no Internet, no television, and to make matters worse the absence of sunlight is resulting in regular power failures as the electrical grid struggles with unprecedented demand; it soon completely fails. As the temperature drops, Greg’s children struggle to survive against an unseen force as their only sources of artificial light run out.
